Jon's Story
Ten-Plus Years in the Barbering Community
Before Sonoma County SMP, Jon spent over a decade at Top Shelf Barbershop in Santa Rosa — one of the area's most respected shops. That time shaped everything: how he approaches clients, how he talks about hair loss, and the level of craft he holds himself to.
Working daily alongside barbers, stylists, and grooming professionals meant Jon understood from the inside what clients feel when hair loss starts affecting how they present themselves. He knew the confidence that came with a great cut — and the gap that formed when that was no longer possible.
SMP became the answer to that gap. Jon pursued it with the same rigor he brought to barbering — extensive training, hands-on work, and a zero-tolerance approach to results that don't hold up in real life.
